Quick celebration!

We headed up to Santa Monica this evening for Joe's brother Michael's retirement party. He has been a teacher for 41 years, and spent the last 29 of those years teaching at private school in L.A.  He has decided that it's time to retire, and they will be moving to Oregon full time this summer. We don't get to see him very often, so we made a quick trip up there to celebrate at his school party.

It was great to get a chance to visit, even for a little while. The live band was awesome, and it was nice to hear all of the wonderful stories people had to tell about him. Happy Retirement Michael!
