What a day to celebrate! Zoe's 13th birthday, Cooper's 11th birthday, and Father's Day all rolled into one!
We started off with everyone opening up their gifts. The kids let Joe go first.
Thank you Joe, for always being there for your family. You work hard and always put us first. We love you!
It was the kids' turn and they had fun opening their bags from Mimi and Gramps, and a few things from us too...

After breakfast, we were able to FaceTime with my Dad. Mimi and Gramps were wishing the kids a happy birthday, and we were wishing him a happy Father's Day. He opened the shirt and BBQ sauce we had given him last weekend.
I am incredibly blessed to have this man as my Dad. He is generous, loving, supportive, easy-going, and has an incredible work ethic.
We had to split the rest of the day up so that everyone would get to do what they wanted! Cooper really wanted to go to the trampoline park, so we got there right when it opened. We were the only ones there, so for the first 40 minutes, they had the whole place to themselves!
Cooper spent a lot of his time shooting baskets and working on his dunking skills...
Zoe practiced her splits and jumps...
They played dodgeball...
and jumped in the foam pit...
We picked up Subway sandwiches (Cooper's choice!) and headed to Torrey Pines State Beach, which was Zoe and Joe's choice for the afternoon. It couldn't have been more perfect there!
We couldn't wait to dig in to our sandwiches...
Before heading into the water, they found this area to have some fun near the construction zone. They had a blast!
We spent a lot of time playing in the water. The temperature was warm, we watched dolphins swim by, and had a great time jumping in the waves and digging for sand crabs.
After the beach, we were hungry for dinner. It was Zoe's choice, and she really wanted Olive Garden. So that's where we headed. The food was good, and we celebrated again.
Zoe was born at 6:04 pm, and we were actually at the restaurant at that time. So we made an extra special toast. :)
It has been a month of celebrations, and although I feel exhausted some of these days, I am cherishing every memory along the way!
