You are special...

Our sweet girl...

A family dinner, and her request for homemade mocha cupcakes, to celebrate the anniversary of her baptism. So blessed by this beautiful girl.

Skipping Rocks...

We headed back down to San Diego today for Cooper's lacrosse game. It had been a rainy/stormy night and morning, but it made for some beautiful rainbows on the way. I think we saw 6 in total!

Cooper had a great game, and the Tomahawks continued their undefeated streak. After the game, we headed to San Elijo for some delicious donuts!! I love this place. :)
We decided to take advantage of being so close to the beach. Even though it was still a bit windy and stormy, we had a great time walking along the water, and climbing the lifeguard stands.

Cooper and Joe had a ton of fun skipping rocks as the water came up to shore.
They searched out the best flat rocks and had a contest.
Cooper beat Joe with 7 skips!

We missed Zoe, she was at dance rehearsals all day getting ready for her upcoming show, but we sure enjoyed spending some one on one time with our guy!

Easter 2014

I'm so glad my kids will still dye Easter eggs. ;)

We did our egg hunts indoors and outdoors...

For the first time ever, they tied outside, and Cooper beat Zoe inside. He's getting good! They counted up $ and piled some candy...

opened our baskets...

enjoyed a quick waffle breakfast, and headed out to morning church service. I love Resurrection Sunday service...such a beautiful message of the love of our Lord.

We headed to Mimi and Gramp's house for a fun afternoon and lots of delicious food.

The kids did another Easter egg hunt, and opened their baskets...

Zoe was thrilled with her maracons...

Mimi put out a delicious dessert spread...

We had the best time ever with the confetti eggs. So much laughter!!

Even Bobbie joined in the fun...

The lot behind my parents house is being transformed into a park, so the kids enjoyed playing in the dirt and climbing in some heavy equipment!
It was such a wonderful day...spent with family, time to worship, lots of good food, and plenty of joy and laughter. We are thankful and blessed!

Double Sports

Coop has been busier than ever, trying to juggle practices and games for both club lacrosse and middle school basketball. He has at least one practice or game almost every day of the week, and sometimes two in one day. Fortunately, Cooper thrives on physical activity and he is loving both!

Lacrosse games are a ton of fun to watch...Action packed, a little rough, and very exciting.

He is learning his position as a midi, and improving his face-offs.

Most of our games are in San Diego, but we've been able to play a few locally too.
The sticks are flying...

Cooper is having a blast with his middle school basketball team too. These boys get along great, and are really enjoying this team experience. I love watching their intensity, and can not believe how skilled some of these guys are. My number 11 is learning a ton, and seeing just where he wants to be.

Although I'm looking forward to a bit of a break in our schedule, it sure puts a smile on my face to see him happy and doing what he loves!

Spring Break Randomness

Since most of our break was busy getting ready for our garage sale, catching up on a few house projects, and still doing dance, lacrosse, and basketball, we didn't get to do too much else.

Unfortunately, we did have to deal with a leak in our kitchen ceiling...

Zoe opened up her teen bank account, and got her first debit card!
We spent lots of time hanging with our adorable pups...
and enjoyed macarons that Mimi picked up.
We spent time with friends, had a few sleepovers, and caught a couple of movies. I enjoy this time off so much, and can't wait for summer!!
