Beach Day!

It was a perfect day for the beach! We have been getting unpacked, settling back in, visiting with friends, and enjoying the rest of our summer. We were ready for a day at the ocean!

It was too hot to stay out of the water...

Break for drinks and some rest...
 and digging of course...
one last run in before leaving...
I wish our summer would last a little longer so we could have more of these days!

Cooper's Getaway!

While Zoe and I were gone, Coop had the time of his life at Mimi and Gramp's house with Jax. They were spoiled rotten, never stopped, and spent every day at the beach, or on vacation!

 Practiced with the Go-Pro...

Went to birthday parties...
 Meals out...

Shopping...
 Time at the O.C. Fair...
 Riding bikes...
 Fingerboarding...
 and getting skateboard lessons...

As if that weren't enough fun, they had a fantastic time at Hershey Park in Pennsylvania!

They had a blast riding the huge roller coasters in the park.

some of them they rode 6 times in a row!
The water park was a blast too!

They even got to go into the chocolate factory to create their own personalized candy bars...

Mimi had to get a picture with the Hershey kiss (she's one amazing grandma!)...

After our night in Philly with them, they had a little more time there. They loved running up the "Rocky" steps...

Love this picture...(he's one amazing grandpa!)...
He had a fantastic 2+ weeks! It's nice to know that even though he was away from me and Joe, that he was in such good hands and having so much fun.

NYC, heading home!

We were up early to head to the airport. It's always bittersweet to leave. We've had so much fun, and love walking the streets here, but we can't wait to get home to Joe, Cooper, and our dogs!
We left our apartment...

and took our last view of the skyline before boarding the plane.
We were using points for our flight, and were upgraded to First Class for the trip home. How spoiled we were!
What a blessing to be able to spend this time with my daughter. Watching her do what she loves, seeing her excel and make friends, and have a ton of fun together while having new experiences is priceless. It's not always easy to be away from home, but we are thankful!

NYC, Day 17...

Today was our last full day in the city. We decided to do a ballet photo shoot in Central Park. It was a very hot and humid day, but we had so much fun walking around the park finding fun places to take pictures.

We worked up an appetite, so we walked to the closest Shake Shack.
And finished our day of lasts, mostly centered on food! We picked up a Levain cookie to go...
took a taxi for the first and last time this trip...
 picked up some YoGo...
and of course, some Laduree macarons to take home...
took our last ride on the subway...
ate our last slices of NY pizza...
and went to Cooper Square (I sure can't wait to see my boy tomorrow!!)...
We walked a lot, trying to get our last look at our favorite city before heading back to the apartment to pack for our trip home.
