Happy 4th!

The 4th of July was spent in bliss at the beach!

 We took the kids' annual beach pictures...

 It could not have been more beautiful! The water was also the warmest it's been in the last several years. (Not sure why the kids needed wetsuits, but oh well!)

 The current was pretty strong but it was a ton of fun. We all had a great day in and out of the water! The kids used the go-pros to get some photos too.

I didn't want to leave, but it was time to get back to Mimi and Gramp's for some burgers and hot dogs.

 and some yummy cake & berry parfait desserts!

These kids sure have fun together!

 Gramps took the boys to one of Jax's friends block party where they could actually light some fireworks themselves. It got a bit crazy and wild, but he kept a close eye on them and they had a blast.

 We got to see lots of fireworks from my parent's house too. The empty lot behind them is being turned into a park, and there were quite a few "illegal" fireworks being shot off!

We had a great day with family, enjoying our freedoms and being thankful for the sacrifices made so that we have our our freedoms. Happy 4th of July!
