5th Grade vs. Staff Softball Game

 The 5th graders look forward to this event all year (well, at least some of them do!). Cooper was excited to take part, and has enjoyed practicing with his class the last few weeks. He hasn't picked up a baseball and bat in a while, but he had fun getting back into it. His group was up to bat first.

 He had a big hit, but unfortunately it was a pop fly and was caught in the field by one of the teachers. He was bummed, but at least he hit it.

 After his group was up they headed to the field. Cooper played 2nd base.

 Mrs. Newman was up to bat and hit a hard one toward Coop.

 He had some really quick reflexes and made an awesome catch! He had a great inning and enjoyed being out there.

 Time to line up for sno-cones!

 The game continued with four innings...

It was a great game and perfect weather to enjoy one of their last activities.
