Disney Celebration...

It's that time of year...school is out and Disneyland is waiting before our passes expire for the summer! We spent a long, fun day with Grandma and Jax.

Outside the entrance there was a baseball Mickey Mouse. There are actually baseball Mickeys representing various teams all over Orange County. Cooper wasn't thrilled that it was the Braves, but he still thought it was cool.

Once we got in the park we went straight to Guest Services so the kids could get their Birthday Pins and take a Happy Birthday call from Goofy...
Then we were off for a day of lots of rides, shopping, and eating! It was hot and crowded, but somehow we timed everything perfectly and never had to wait to more than 20 minutes in a line. It must have been some good Birthday luck!
Zoe and Jax couldn't go through the day without their big pickles!
Zoe filled up the last page in her autograph book with the only character we saw all day, Malifecent, the Queen.
The boys had fun shopping for souvenirs. They loved trying on these new Mad Hatter hats from Alice and Wonderland. Jax ended up taking one home, but Cooper came to his senses quickly and realized he'd get more use out of a beanie and gloves (although we'll have to wait until the weather cools off again!)

After Mimi and Jax left for the day, we stuck around a little longer to avoid the traffic heading home. We went over to California Adventure for a while and ended our day on the Grizzly Rapids. We got pretty wet, but it felt good after the heat of the day!
