Birthday fun...

What a great day of birthday celebrating we had! They woke up to decorated rooms, doors, and mirrors and came downstairs to enjoy their traditional waffles with whipped cream and chocolate chips for breakfast.
Then they let me snap a few birthday photos. I can't believe how much they've grown up since last year...

We then headed out to Paint a Dream so the kids could do a little creative pottery painting. Zoe chose to paint a little girl and Cooper picked an electric guitar.
Once we got home it was time to get ready for Cooper's party. They were excited that Daddy got home early so they could start opening a few gifts!
Zoe was happy to get her yearly "number" doll...
Cooper got a certificate for a new baseball bat (we're still waiting for it...)
They had to put off the rest of present opening since Cooper's party was starting, but quickly went back to it after everyone had gone home! Zoe got an iPod Nano and Cooper was surprised with a new basketball hoop.

We decided to go out to dinner to celebrate at Macaroni Grill where the kids where sung Happy Birthday in Italian...we thought that was pretty cool!

We came home to Zoe's number 10 cake and then finished the night with a neighborhood gathering around the fire pit.
What a fun day! Happy Birthday to my two beautiful babies!
