We had Cooper's last "fun" practice and farewell to the A's party today. The coach gathered all the kids at the park for some baseball water fun. They started with water balloon duck-duck-goose.
Then they had a straight up water balloon fight and got soaked!
They had a great time batting with water balloons and got drenched each time they hit it! Coop hit all 3 of his and loved it!

They ended the practice with a water gun fight.
After the "practice", we headed to the Norris house for a great end of the season party. They have a beautiful home and pool, and we all enjoyed a relaxing and fun evening.

After many hours of swimming, eating, and drinking, the coaches gathered everyone around to hand out trophies and gifts. The Ehmke's gave each of the kids a bottle of sparkling cider with a team photo on it, just like last season.
Unfortunately, my camera battery died at this moment so I didn't get any more pictures with Coop, the team, and his trophy. Hopefully I can some more later from others that were there! Anyway, Coop's coaches had a ton of fantastic things to say about him. They called him their "IT" guy, and said he was always there when and where they needed him, and their most solid player. They were very impressed with how he played under pressure and are looking forward to great things from him in the future. So, we ended the night with lots of fun and laughter, and hope we can get together with this team again! Way to go Cooper...we are so proud of your baseball accomplishments this season.
