My parents came down for an early Mother's Day celebration/Joe's Birthday/Cooper's last regular season baseball game. We went out to lunch before the game and exchanged some gifts. We were spoiled, as usual!
Happy Mother's Mom, to the best mom a girl could ask for! I am so blessed to have such a loving, supportive, and generous mom.
After lunch we headed to the field to watch Cooper's last game of the regular season. Unfortunately, it was his worst game of the season. The team as a whole was having a rough day coming together...they were striking out, over throwing, and not catching the ball. It was tough to watch.
After striking out, he was able to make a couple of good plays in the field...
Cooper is pretty hard on himself when he doesn't live up to his own expectations. He was pretty upset that he hadn't played as well as he usually does, especially with Mimi and Gramps there to watch. We just keep reminding him that it is ok to have a bad game!
The A's took a hard loss to the Rockies, but we ended the season with a 11-3-1 record. Pretty impressive if you ask me!
