We couldn't wait to be attending Meghan and Max's wedding. It was a very traditional, Orthodox Jewish wedding, so it was a bit different than what we're used to. Meghan had sent us videos and filled us in on some of the traditions, and I was excited to see it all. We had to get there early for some pictures, so we waited a while for everyone to be ready.
We can't get enough of Noah!
The evening began with a cocktail reception with open bar and 8 food stations. Then bride and groom had a private "first look" moment, the men gathered for the reading and signing of a contract, the mothers of the bride and groom did a plate smashing, and there were prayers recited. Once that was done, the bride and groom entered the cocktail room with singing and excitement, and touching moments between Cathy and Meghan.
The ceremony was beautiful, and filled with tradition.

The reception room was beautiful!
The dancing began right away! It was so much fun! The women are separated from the men on the dance floor for the first part of the dance.
Then they're brought together, and the bride and groom are lifted on chairs.
Early in the evening it began to snow! Some of the kids went out to watch...
We ate delicious food and many desserts, and continued dancing late into the night...
And Noah was a trooper...
It was a late night, but such a blast. We enjoyed being a part of such a special time in their lives. We were up early, had breakfast at the hotel, drove to airport, and jumped on the air Tran to the terminal.
It was a long day of traveling, but well worth it. Thanks Mom and Dad for making this trip possible!!
