Cooper's flag football team had their final game tonight. They made it into the Tier 2 playoffs with a record of 3-4-1. They were playing the Steelers, who were a 6-1 Murrieta team that were just unstoppable.
It was incredibly hot out here for these kids...when we got to the field it was still 99 degrees outside. What happened to Spring?
Although the Rams couldn't stop the Steelers, the boys played tough. Cooper had a great defensive game, and had a few good runs with the ball on offense.
These boys are really good sportsmen and took their loss in stride.
Cooper was happy to have played with his good friend Nicholas all season. He got to learn some new skills and a play a few new positions. He's looking forward to his break for the summer but will be ready to join a new team in the fall!
