Basketball Camp

Cooper is not big on attending "camps" in the summer, but he decided this basketball camp might be fun. He spends his recess time at school playing basketball, and lots of time in front of the house shooting hoops, but he has been missing basketball since the season ended in February.

So this week, for a couple of hours each morning, he has been heading to Greak Oak High School for some fun. It turns out a few of the other kids in the neighborhood were going to, so Todd took charge and they would all head over there together. They warmed up in the morning out front, and enjoyed their treats afterwards.

Cooper was the oldest of the kids in the neighborhood, so he had fun being the older, responsible kid! Each day at camp, they held drills and competitions. The teams that won got gatorades and/or otter pops.

It was a great way to spend a week, learn some new skills, and Cooper loved getting to know some of the high school varsity players that helped coach them. He's looking forward to it again next year!
