I love the feeling of Christmas Eve, and we had a wonderful day and evening. Cooper still wasn't feeling great, but he was a bit better and finally able to enjoy himself. The kids woke up to find a goodbye note from Clyde with a treat for each of them.
A fingerboarding ornament for Coop, and a Nutcracker pointe shoe ornament for Zoe. Then they moved on to opening their gifts to each other. They both took time coming up with ideas, shopping and wrapping. I love that they enjoy doing this each year.
Cooper got a new basketball, and a dark chocolate Hershey bar. Zoe got socks, an iPod cover, and earrings. We had a quiet, relaxing part of the day, so we made some salt dough ornaments for the tree.
Thanks to Pinterest, we found this fun Santa hand idea.
My favorite part of the day is attending the candlelight Christmas Eve service at church. Nothing gets me more in the spirit than that music, message, and the lighting of the candles.
Afterwards, we headed to Mimi and Gramps for a fun night and tons of delicious food. Mimi always outdoes herself with food, decorations and gifts!
Gramps was the bartender...
Cole was anxious for the food...
Mimi took lots of pictures of everyone with her Santa. Ambher, Cathy, and Meghan were up next!

Mimi and I sat at the kids table!
We spent time playing a Christmas trivia game...
and enjoyed a delicious dessert buffet!
The boys got on the their jammies, played with Greg and Jody's dog, TK, and everyone headed to bed to await Christmas morning!
