Fair Fun!

Today we headed to the O.C. Fair with Mimi and Jax for another fun summer day!

 

The kids had a blast going on lots of rides...

 playing a few games to try to win a prize...

 only Zoe succeeded with this little stuffed banana...

we saw lots of crazy reptiles, and got to touch a snake...

 we had a blast at the pig races...

 saw a few farm animals, including the beautiful Budweiser Clydesdale horses...

 and ate some fun fair food, including the giant turkey legs!

 We had a great time, had good weather, and avoided the crowds by getting there at opening. Afterwards, the kids still had some energy to burn, so we went to Uncle Jeff's for a little beach and kayak time!

They love jumping off the docks, and daring each other to try to touch the bottom.

 They are getting pretty good in the kayaks too. They got to venture out a lot further today since the bay was empty!

 What a fun day!
