Showcase!

Zoe has been taking a class with Christian Youth Theater for the last couple of months. She has been wanting to take a musical theater class for a while there, but ended up in the singing performance class instead. She has had a ton of fun singing and dancing and making a few new friends in the process.
At the end of their winter session, all of the classes come together to put on a Showcase to display their talents and show a few things they have learned. Zoe couldn't wait to get on the stage to perform. Her class put together a medley of songs to sing and dance to, including: Get Into the Music, I Like Music, Music Makes You Happy, Singing in the Rain, If There is Music in You, I Got the Music in Me, The Beat Goes On, and Zoe sang a solo of "I Write the Songs". The kids looked and sounded fantastic and it was a fun show to watch.


Six other groups performed, including some dance numbers, kids comedy, improv, and musical theater. It was great show to watch, and a nice ending to a few months of hard work and fun play!
