Chorus Holiday Shows

It's that time of year again! After many, many hours of practices and rehearsals, the Tony Tobin TrailDazzlers put on another set of terrific holiday performances. The show was called Jingle Bell Jukebox, set in a 1950's diner. There was a waitress, some cheerleaders and football players, some "snobby" girls, Mr. Chill (the "cool" guy), the nerd, the "sweet" Cindy Lou, the grinch, and of course, Santa Clause. A few months ago, Zoe auditioned and got the part of Cindy Lou. I think it was perfect fit for her.

The show was full of great songs, dancing, and acting...and it was so much fun! Zoe spent a lot of time memorizing all of her lines, and she refused to let me help her since she wanted it all to be a surprise.

Zoe got to sing a solo in the middle of the show and she pulled it off beautifully...of course, it brought tears to my eyes.
Throughout the show, the rest of the chorus group sang beautifully in their colorful shirts and hats...

Zoe coming out at the end of the show (can't you just feel her excitiment!)...

The cast taking their final bow...
Zoe looked beautiful in the dress and shoes that Grandma bought for her!

Zoe and Maddyn...

Zoe and Lacey...

Zoe, and the amazing Mrs. McBride who works incredibly hard with these kids...

Most importantly, Grandma and Grandpa got to come to the first of her 3 shows. Grandma gets to come a lot, but Grandpa has never been able to make it due to his work schedule. He decided to surprise Zoe this time and come see her. After the show she came running off the stage and into his arms, she couldn't believe they were both there!

Great job Zoe!! We are so proud of the beautiful performer you have become!!
