Today at Friday Flag Salute was the official kickoff to our Red Ribbon Week which begins on Monday. Our theme this year is "Let's Wipe Out Drugs! Just Say No Way Dude!".
The skit begin with Mr. McSurf and the Wavettes doing a dance to the song Wipeout.
Zoe was asked to participate with a few other kids to help promote the week and inform the students of the daily dress up days:
Monday: "isle" say to no to drugs (dress in hawaiian clothes)
Tuesday: don't get burned by drugs (wear red from head to toe)
Wednesday: lei off drugs (wear a Hawaiian lei)
Thursday: get radical dude, stay away from drugs (crazy hair and clothes)
Friday: keep your cool, just say no (wear hats and sunglasses)
(Zoe was Tuesday, wear red head to toe...poor thing was baking since it was 90 degrees out!)Can't wait for all of the fun days next week!
