Luau Party!

Today was Zoe's party for her 9th birthday. We celebrated with a luau themed pool party. Her friends came and everyone had a lot of fun. The girls started out by decorating their summer bucket hats.
While their hats were drying, they were ready to jump in the pool!
They spent an hour playing with the balloons, having handstand contests, swimming, and jumping. It was hard to drag them out for some food. At Zoe's request we had sub sandwiches, watermelon, chips, and lemonade.
Then it was time for a limbo contest. Boy are these girls flexible!
Moving on to cupcakes and presents...

(Zoe got tons of great gifts, including webkinz, lots of craft kits, taylor swift stuff, cute hats and sunglasses, and gift cards! What a lucky girl!)

(Zoe even got a gift from Grandma's jeweler, Eric!)

The girls played a couple rounds of Aloha BINGO before heading back in the pool for some playtime!
It was a fun party and a great way to end the birthday celebrations! Whew...we made it!! Here's to another year gone by!
