Poppe's 90th Birthday!!

What a milestone day for Poppe! It has been a very difficult couple of months for him, but we are so happy that we got to celebrate this big day with him! My mom has been working hard to plan this party and it turned out perfectly. It was held at a fantastic little Italian restaurant in Huntington, and we had the whole place to ourselves. He was surrounded by lots of family and many of his friends, and the smile on his face says it all!

 Martin wasn't able to make it since it is high fire season, but Sonya joined us for the party.

 It was nice to have so much of the family together, even our family from Idaho.

We had a wonderful time together, laughing, crying, telling stories, and just visiting. It was a very special day that we all will cherish.

Poppe went home to rest and we went back to Mimi and Gramp's house to hang out some more. Zoe spent the afternoon babysitting Millie and loved every second of it!
