Character Day!

It was Read Across America Week at school. So each day the kids had different dress up themes: Messy Monday, Hats of to Reading, Wacky Wednesday, Read My Shirt Day, and Funny Friday which meant dressing up as one of their favorite fictional book characters. Zoe's immediate choice was Nancy Drew. She has spent the last few months reading from my series of books that I had when I was growing up. It has been so neat to see her love them as much as I did! Cooper wanted to wear his ninja costume since he just finished reading Night of the Ninjas from the Magic Tree House Series. It was a fun week for both of them.
