The last week of '08

The last week of 2008 has been a pretty laid back one. It has been so nice to spend time at home and not be rushing around like crazy. In fact this is the only week out of the entire year that we have NO activities to go to! No karate, soccer, baseball, dance, chorus, girl scouts, homework, or school activities! Woo-Hoo!

We've had the chance to visit with out of town friends. Our friends Roger and Shloe were in town from Minnesota, so we went out to Banning for an afternoon to spend with them and their girls.

(Christy, Shloe with Callie & Cora, Me with Zoe)

We've spent a lot of time building Legos too! What would the week after Christmas be without spending hours building lego sets. This time it is Speed Racer cars, Indiana Jones, and recycling trucks.

Zoe got a refurbished laptop from Grandpa this week too. So the kids have had lots of fun playing with that too.

Other than that we've been playing lots of games, watching some tv, reading books, riding scooters, visiting grandma to help her hang wall pictures in their new house, doing a little shopping, and spending A LOT of time in our pajamas! Tonight we will get ready to ring in the New Year!
