She did it!!

After waiting anxiously for her audition results, we received the email we had been waiting for. Zoe was accepted into ABT's Summer Intensive Program... in New York City!! We were both in shock, and took a double take...and had Joe look at it just to make sure we were reading it correctly after we logged into her account. She was so excited, she was speechless. If you know Zoe very well, you know that that doesn't happen very often! Out of their 5 Summer Intensive locations, New York is the longest, most intense program and it was a huge accomplishment for her to get accepted. We really could not be more proud. She works so hard, spends so many hours dancing, has learned incredible time management skills, and it is nice to see that it is paying off.
Now is the hard part, making the decision of whether she can go! Five weeks is a long time, and since she is so young, it would mean Cooper and I heading along with her to chaperone and find housing. It would be a fantastic opportunity for her, and we are brainstorming ways to fund raise, but we will have to see what lies ahead. Time to pray, think, and pray some more.
