The 2nd Graders had a field trip today to the Temecula Community Theater. They loaded up on the bus and headed to see a "play" called Farmer Jason. The 2nd grade has gotten hit pretty hard with the flu this week, so we were missing quite a few kids.
Unfortunately, the "play" wasn't much of a show, it ended up being a guy with his guitar singing some farm songs. The kids had a bit more fun towards the end with some audience participation, but it was really geared more for the 3 or 4 year old crowd (if that!). So, it certainly wasn't the best field trip we had, but at least the kids got a day away from the classroom.
