Audition season has begun again! We did first arabesque pictures...
We've been to L.A. for the Lines audition. While Zoe was taking class, I went over to the Farmers Market at the Grove (one of my favorite places!)
Zoe had a great time, although didn't really want a picture taken at this moment!
She did the ABT audition in Long Beach with a couple friends. This was a great audition, and she got to talk with Julie Kent, former Principal ballerina with ABT, now the director of the summer intensive program.
Due to a major rainstorm, and some other conflicts, she needed to do 4 auditions by video. So we spent a week video taping classes, and variations, and then editing to the individual requirements of companies. I'm glad we're just about done! It's always a stressful time, although she really tries to enjoy the classes and loves seeing the differences in the people and the companies.
